  • Wisconsin Strategic Alliance Event with Eli Lilly and Company.
    As a result of the collaborative efforts between Governor Doyle, the Department of Commerce, BioForward, and other members of Wisconsin’s biotechnology community, Eli Lilly will be visiting Madison in late April (date TBA) to meet with Wisconsin companies and researchers to explore opportunities for strategic partnerships.   • Members approved implementation of "BioForward" as the new name of the Wisconsin Biotechnology and Medical Device Association) at the breakfast meeting on February 11th. "The new name, tagline and logo more accurately reflect the organization’s continuing efforts to advocate for the creation of investment and partnering opportunities; attract and retain the best talent; and provide networking, educational and other programs that help our member companies flourish," Laura Strong said in a news release.
