About Chiropractic Staffing
With more people than ever seeking holistic or complementary healthcare treatments, chiropractors are in high demand. Many chiropractors specialize in one or more areas of the musculoskeletal system while others focus on specific populations, such as children, athletes, or pregnant women. They often work in a solo or group chiropractic setting, but may also be found working at larger medical or hospital systems.Go here
Navigating Chiropractic Employment Opportunities
The average annual salary for a Chiropractor is $53,608. While job growth is not expected to be fast, it is still good, with an estimated 1,300 openings per year on average.
As the need for chiropractors continues to grow, the demand for qualified medical assistants is increasing as well. These professionals are trained to help with patient care, including assisting with massages, TENS unit treatment, and chiropractic adjustments. They are also in charge of scheduling appointments, sending out appointment reminders, and answering patient questions.
A medical aide must be comfortable working closely with patients and have excellent written & verbal communication skills. They should also be knowledgeable about the body, especially the musculoskeletal system. They should be able to identify a patient’s symptoms and provide them with information on how to improve them.
Depending on the state, some medical assisting positions require certification. While not all medical assisting programs offer this, earning a certified medical assisting (CMA) or certified clinical medical assistant (CCMA) certificate can make you more competitive in the job market.
